Description
Based on my sketches and photos taken in Xian China at the site of the terracotta warriors, I compiled several views into a pen and ink sketch, scanned it, and completed the picture as a digital image, hopefully capturing some of the majesty and detail of the original pieces.

The sense of movement is such an interesting contrast to the static statues and monochrome composite. It brings the terra cotta to life, and recedes the living into history.
